ROYALS 2009

This year, Royals Debating Championship was held in Universiti Malaya from 3rd until 8th December 2009. There were 2 private institutions which are MMU and UTP (suppose to be 4, maybe the other 2 decided not to join or with other reasons) competing with all others public universities in English category. UKM managed to advance until semi final for both senior and junior category. Such achievements are considered quite ok for an institution without having a proper trainer and facing constraint in getting funding for participating in tournaments. Congratulations for UKM Malay Debate Team for winning the trophy back to UKM in senior category. Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah was the guest of honour for the closing ceremony. Although it is a bit boring, but at least I had seen how protocol works with the present of a Royalty.

PHILOSOPHY OF LOVE

What is love? Is love eternal? If love is infinite, why there are so many married couples divorce? Why there are so many dating couples break up? If love does not last long, then what is the meaning of confessing “I Love You”?

What is the priority for dating partner? One of my friends told me that she will give priority to her family first, her friends second and her boyfriend third. I agree with her but how many boyfriends/girlfriends in this world are willing to be put third, especially after friends. Isn’t boyfriend/girlfriend should understand us more? Putting them in third place doesn’t mean that they are less important. Just that the importance should be placed in heart, and not is words.

What if you had been rejected after you confess yourself? Should you still wait for the person to change his/her mind and accept you or you should find other targets? If you were to wait for him/her, don’t you think that you are wasting your time? Rejection means rejection. Can time change rejection to acceptance? But if you were to find another target, don’t you think that you are not confessing to your true love.

How many true loves can a person have? If a person can have more than one true loves, don’t you think that the “true loves” might not be the “real true love”. But if a person can only has one true love, does it mean that the person has to live with artificial loves for the rest of his/her life if his/her true love rejects him/her?

*Philosophy of Love should be included in the syllabus for Pengantar Falsafah (kursus Wajib Fakulti Sains Sosial dan Kemanusiaan), UKM. Hehe...

TRANSFORMERS 2 VS BLOOD

BLOOD : THE LAST VAMPIRE

WAO… Such a big different between Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen and Blood : The Last Vampire. Taiko, Jerry, Lee Fang and me watched both movies on Thursday and Friday night at Balakong and The Mines respectively. Basically, we don’t really put high hopes that we are able to watch Transformers on Friday night. This is my fourth attempt to watch it. Although I’m not so interested in those kinds of robotic stuffs, but Transformers does attract my attention. At some point, the people in the cinema will “WAO…” and after the show, people will clap for it. First time experience people claps after the show. I heard about it from my mother that 30 years ago, people will clap when the hero like Wong Fei Hong appears on the screen. For those who haven’t watch Transformers, you may either try your luck a few times to buy the tickets or you have to wait for 1 or 2 weeks later so that it would not be that crowded by that time. For Blood, we thought it is a good movie but it actually ends up below our expectation. Fortunately it is not that long. If not, we were to sleep in the cinema. Hehe…

ALL-FISH LUNCH

scenery surrounding that shop...

Lots of Big Fierce Dogs......

On a wooden bridge

This is the shop...

Can you spot my family???

Had an all-fish lunch a few days ago. Located in Sungai Kob, Kedah. The journey took about 45 mins from my house. But the route there is really adventures. Seems like entering a mini-jungle with lots of durian trees around. At one point, you will feel like you are taking the wrong route. You have to be bold enough and confident with yourself to take that route because lack of signboards. We ordered 3 fishes (actually is 2 and a half) and a plate of vegetable (as side dish only). If u were to ask me, I don’t think I’ll go again unless got people drive me there and treat me. Hehehe…..

I think this is "African Fish"...

"Bak Sou Gong"...

Ikan Patin...

Thanks to this uncle for the fishes...

Guess what is he doing!!!!!

FRIEND’S SISTER’S WEDDING

with them "WHITE HEAD TILL OLD"....

It might be one week ago but still have to thank Wan Ching and her sister for the invitation to the wedding night dinner. Surely Wan Ching is not the bride. If not, something might have goes wrong. Hehe... It is the first time for me to go there with friends. Same goes to Chun Lin and Stooi. Usually we will go to wedding dinner with our family because those who get marry are our relatives. But I think sooner or later, we will attend our friends’ weddings more than our relatives’ weddings.

BONUS QUESTION : WHO WILL BE THE FIRST ONE AMONG US TO GET MARRY???

from left : Stooi, Me, Wan Ching's cousin (sorry. forget your name), Chun Lin (half-face covered),
Nelly (Wan Ching's cousin. hope I spell your name correctly)
and the most important people of the day (BRIDEGROOM & BRIDE)

NEW HAIRSTYLE

This is my second hairstyle. I went to hair salon twice in a month. It is amazing compared to my life in UKM. Because I didn’t go for a hair cut for 3-4 months. Unfortunately, all my first hair style pictures can’t be recovered. The software in hp got some problem and need to be reformatted. Too bad...

FEEL GUILTY IF YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG

We went to Alamanda Putrajaya to watch a movie titled “HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU”. Before we proceeded to the cinema, we managed to take a few photos.

They said I like to act cute... I don't like acting... I'm just doing the fact...

Mirror and me... Both of us still can fit in...

Worm in a kid's machine... Hope that kids would cry upon seeing worm...

Lucky to be fitted in

Childhood memory...

A guard passed by and most of us get scared away because we are doing some childish stuff. Fortunately, the children land cruiser is still in good condition. This is absolutely true that if you have done something wrong, you will feel scare easily.
